A young, energetic yellow lab, Mya goes on a Dogs Vangroovin' run twice a week, and comes home tired and content.    Dogs Vangroovin' is the best decision that I have ever made for my dog Oakley. With my busy schedule, the walks allow an outlet for him to be fully exercised and socialized. He is the perfect dog due in part to his regular hikes which keep him mentally and physically satisfied. I fully believe he does not take part in destructive behaviours like chewing or annoying behaviours like whining because his needs are fully met with regular exercise through the walks. As well, the hikes keep Oakley at a healthy weight and conditioned for other activities in his life like agility. 

 Kristen is wonderfully in tune with the needs and personalities of the dogs that she walks and I fully trust in her professionalism and expertise. When I have been able to join Kristen and Oakley on the walks, I am amazed by all of the happy dog smiles as they enjoy themselves in the outdoors. I highly recommend Dogs Vangroovin' for a dog that need to go out once a week or five times a week- you are doing a favour to your dog and to yourself!

   The services provided by Kristen is both first rate and one of a kind. They go way beyond what is typically offered by most dog walkers. Dogs in Kristen's care get to run, chase and play with each other in a natural  setting free of urban distractions.

Within a very few months the exercise, stimulation and love provided by Kristen helped my previously abused pound puppy come out of his shell to become this energetic gregarious loving member of my family.  I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have my dog taken care of by her.    We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dogs Vangroovin’ and Kristen!  Our dog, who was abandoned when he was young, was never the most socially outgoing creature.  Within a few weeks of beginning his Dogs Vangroovin’ hikes, we noticed that his behaviour around other dogs had improved tremendously and his temperament at home was much more calm than in the past.  He has never been in better shape and everyone who meets him remarks that he seems younger than his age of nine.  We attribute so much of Cole’s progress and good health to Kristen and Dogs Vangroovin’!

   We like your service because you are very caring and reliable. When something goes wrong (the porcupine quills), you deal with it appropriately. When you realize that something could be done to improve the dogs' experiences, like the doggy swims in the heat of summer, you do it.    For anyone looking to keep their dog happy and healthy, I could not recommend Kristen and Dogvangroovin' more. As a person who works long hours during the week, I love knowing that Jimmy is able to go out in the middle of the day, get LOTS of exercise, see all of his dog "buddies", and come home content and exhausted. He socializes better with other dogs that we meet in the park, he's calmer, and he has more "good" energy. I also know that Kristen is doing this for the love of it, and it shows with her personal attention and enthusiasm. If you've a dog that needs exercise during the day, and is comfortable off of a leash, then this is the service for you!
