1) Does the unit have to be assembled by the customer?a) Do you have the tools to properly assemble?
b) Is there a fee to have the unit assembled?2) Does warranty cover complete unit or is it a a breakdown style warranty?
3) Does warranty include extended coverage on some items?
4) Are warranty repairs performed at place of purchase?
5) Does vendor supply a pick-up and delivery service while under warranty at no charge?
6) Does vendor sell parts or have availability to order?
7) Does warranty include plug, oil, grease, coolant, should it be required to perform repair?
8) Does vendor take trade-ins should you wish to upgrade?
9) Does unit have capability of taking attachments?
10) Will I be sold the right unit to do the job?
Take a few minutes to think about these 10 points.
Many of these points are asked of dealers, but quickly forgotten when purchasing from a mass merchant.Example: Customer explains that unit can be purchased cheaper from mass merchant . . .
a) is it the same make and model? b) consider the ten points
It is a well known fact that price and quality always go hand in hand in this industry. Since 1981, I have been selling and servicing equipment, and building a customer based clientele built on honesty and respect.
Once again, consider the 10 points and spend your money wisely. It never costs to buy quality . . . it pays!!
